1971 Oldsmobile 442 Hardtop Coupe; 455, 8 Cylinder, Automatic, True 442! This car is a real beaut and is an absolute head turner who gets lots of attention. I would classify her as Average being a 20 footer. DETAILS: (Black on black true to vin#) Vin# 344871M133285 (344 states that it is a true 442), T400 Automatic transmission. Linkage adjusted 6/26/07 and shifts thru all gears smoothly with new fluid and filter. 455 CID V-8 engine (not original), Manual brakes which were completely replaced 5/07, Power steering, Air Conditioning currently not working. Black Gloss body with white center stripe on hood. A few small rust spots. However, the overall appearance of the body is in good condition. Lines are straight. True Mileage unknown, currently reads 7,627. Drove approximately 2,000 since purchased in June 2006. New Stainless Steel dual exhaust with custom bent aluminum pipes 6/29/06. New Edlebrock Carb. 6/06. New thermostat and gasket 6/26/07. New master cylinder 6/26/07. Interior shows to be re-upholstered but not sure when. Headliner is clean with one small tear. Carpets show minimal wear. Original AM/FM with 8 track with 2 loudspeakers mounted on the rear deck. 8 track worked at first but now needs to be cleaned. CAN PROVIDE ALL PAPERWORK. Things that are recommended be done that we never got a chance to do: Fix leak at rear main seal, Replace manifolds, Some body work needed/ Please email for any more questions or if you would like to set up an appointment to see the car.
