1958 Cadillac Series 62; 365CI, Automatic, color is white with black leather interior. This lavishly equipped beautifully restored 58 caddy comes with NEW alpine white paint, perfect and impeccable, the legendary 4-speed hydraulic transmission, NEW electron -hydraulic convertible top and hydraulic cylinders, power seats, power windows, hydraulic powered steering, power brakes, AM radio with rear speaker and power antennae. Matching its impressive stature the Cads immaculate freshly renovated engine compartment sports the factory original 310 HP - 365 cubic engine (VIN#58FO44191). The compression on all 8 cylinders is A-1 and the power plant and its environment are as clean as new. The Caddy's correct tires are BF Goodrich Silvertown Whitewalls 8-20-15 4-Ply mounted on new updated chrome wire wheels.(original factory wheel discs are available) Luxury genuine two tone black and white leather upholstery sports newly restored long rectangular biscuits with deep recessed buttons. A newly designed rear compartment radio grill is centered in a recessed position at the top of the rear seat back bolster. Completing the aura of warmth and well-being reflected throughout the interiors of the 1958 Caddy is the luxurious covering of heavy tufted, deep-pile nylon blend carpeting. The dash and door panels are immaculate. Gauge cluster display a beautiful symmetry and all work as do lights, the power top, power seats, and the power windows. Windshield wipers are vacuum operated and yes the AM radio still hums once the tubes warm up and power antennae is positioned. Equally as important as looking good and working mechanicals is what lies beneath the shiny surface. The undercarriage is wonderfully rust free. A brand new dual exhaust system has been installed. The long horizontal lines in contour and chrome combine with a longer hood and front fender line to accentuate its length of 225.3" over-all length. Stylized, chromed Cadillac crest and name "CADILLAC" in block letters appear at the rear of the fenders just beneath the chromed wind split molding. On the rear fender fins with a chromed molding on the top and trailing edges bear the name CADILLAC in fold, block letters. Gleaming grill of anodized aluminum has wide-spaced fins with bright, bullet-like projections at each intersection. Entire egg crate grill, encompassing the black rubber-tipped bumper guards, extends full width of the car thus accentuating the car's lower, wider appearance. Dual, parallel headlamps-driving lamps further enhance the broad, massive front end appearance. Driving this supreme Cadillac luxury convertible is truly an adventure and a sublime experience. MORE ABOUT THIS CAR- In verifying the authenticity of the car, the VIN number on the vehicle registration (58F0441910) clearly matches that stamped on the block, also appears on the original plastic lubrication door sticker. The original Identification card along with the dealer name, original owners name and date and location of purchase. The original data plate is screwed in place and has never been removed. The car was purchased in 1980, keep in storage until the owner performed a full frame, fully documented restoration completed in 1994. In 1999 the vehicle was purchased and shipped to California.
