1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Sport Coupe; 8 Cylinder, 46,172 miles, color is white with aqua interior. Has Stock 283 V-8 Engine, Automatic Powerglide Transmission, Power Steering, Factory Air Conditioning, New Heater Core. This Colorado car has been in my wife’s family for 33 years. It was garaged from 1976 through 1996 and driven about 1,000 miles during that period and periodic oil changes and other regular maintenance whether it needed it or not. Subsequent to 1996 the car has been driven about 150 miles each year. The car is all original except that it has been repainted. The original paint, “Magic-Mirror” acrylic lacquer, was the worst finish GM ever used and subject to deterioration from any number of causes. It has never been damaged. The exceptions are: (1) the dash pad has two cracks but the new replacement is included; (2) the package try (space between the rear seat and window) is water stained caused by a leaking window seal that has been repaired. Anew insulated package try is included; (3) the inside rear window trim needs to be replaced and anew set is included; (4) the glove compartment door needs a new latch; (5) the radio needs a new antenna. The trunk floor was damaged by a leaking trunk lid seal and has been replaced with a new U.S. made 22-gauge 3-section prefabricated steel floor supplied by National Parts Depot (Part No 1928) specializing in parts and accessories for Chevelle.
