1974.5 MGB GT, 3270 miles since total ground up professional rotisserie restoration, Only 1247 rubber bumper GT’s were built between September and December of 1974 for the North American market making it a half model year. No bolt was left unturned in this comprehensive restoration. A Florida car the body was without rust. The Pageant blue paint is an original factory color for the home market.
The engine has high compression pistons with an Isky cam and runs as good as it looks. The four-speed electric overdrive transmission is set up for overdrive in third and fourth gear. The car sits on four original MG V8 wheels and has the same type for a spare. The engine bay features chrome accents and polished components and is impeccably detailed, the exhaust is polished stainless steel. Every suspension component was painstakingly restored to exacting standards.
Seats have all new foams and are covered in a custom cloth. The interior is new from the carpet to the headliner.
This MGB GT has been honored with a best in show at Hagerstown Md. North American MGB Register national convention and has numerous first place trophies.
This GT is offered for sale to make room for future projects.
