1972 Chevrolet Malibu. This is a completely rebuilt Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. I am the second owner and the car had an original 54,000 miles one it. It is an original California car. I got a hold of the car after it had sat for 10 years under a tree. There was no rust even in the expected places. Everything was just old and rotten. I have completely resurrected the car. The suspension has been rebuilt with energy poly eurethane bushings(body mounts, Control arms, trailing arms, sway bar mounts). there are front and rear sway bars. The brakes have been rebuilt with earls braded lines and rebuilt calipers new wheel cylinders, bearings, and rear drum brakes with finned aluminum drums. the rear end is the factory 12 bolt with a moser aluminum rear end cover and 3:08 gears. the drive shaft has been balanced and new u joints installed. The turbo 350 3 speed automatic has been rebuilt and has a B&M deep pan and 2800 stall converter. The engine is the original 350 with a few up grades. The block has been precision machined by QMP racing engines. Aligned honed, Bored Honed and decked. The rods and crank are stock but have been balanced and resized. with ARP rod bolts. The mains are also ARP studded. There are new JE Hypereutectic pistons. The heads have been pocket ported by Slovers Porting and have new stainless steel back cut valves with comp cams valve springs. The cam is a custom grind hydraulic flat tappet( Valve lift Intake .521 Exhaust .516 Duration @ .050 Intake 224 Exhaust 231) with 1.52 roller tip rocks. The engine is feed with a Holley Intake and HP 600 cfm Holley Carb. The car breaths through Hooker ceramic coated headers and a 3" exhaust with Flow master super 40's. The ignition is a MSD Hei with 8mm MSD wires. The interior has been refurnished with a redone rear seat new carpet abd Recaro Seats. The Old speedometer has come out and been replaced with a custom aluminum dash insert with 6 Ultra light Autometer gauges. (Fuel Level, Volts, Oil Pressure, Water temp, Speedometer and Tacometer) It has a Hurst Promatic 2 ratchet shifter. The paint was done a year and half ago and is silver with black stripes. The paint is not perfect there are a few scratches. The car rides and drives great it takes a ride and look to appreciate the car. Asking $22,500. Located in Acton, CA.
